Tuanjie Township is located in the northeast edge of Sichuan Basin and the west of Micang mountain Hengduan Mountain system, with 106045 'e and 32017' n. Historical evolution

In 618, pingsang county was established in Nanjiang County of tangfangba, which was under the jurisdiction of pingsang county. In 632, pingsang county was abandoned to Nanjiang County, so tangfangba was the seat of gupingsang county. In the Qing Dynasty, it was the hometown of Chongqing, and in the early years of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of a regional league training office.
