Xianshan peninsula is also known as "flower and fruit mountain". On the island, there are lavender, jasmine, rose, Magnolia, osmanthus, Cinnamomum camphora, fragrant root and other precious flowers and trees. Fruits include loquat, honey pear, waxberry, peach, apricot, citrus branches and leaves, chestnut, etc. the fragrance is striking all the year round. There are many wonderful legends and historical sites here. Xianshan peninsula is the only Peninsula scenic spot among the developed scenic spots. It's nine kilometers from Qiandaohu town. The karst landscape here is rich. On the island, there are strange rocks, karst caves, and "Longtan" and "tiger cave". There are magical stories, the port archway and the bull's head sculpture on the left are scenes left by Shanghai Film Studio when they came here to shoot the film "next voyage to the port". Coincidentally, when the water level of Qiandao Lake reached 108 meters, the bull's head was called "Qiandao Shenniu" and the stone carving was kept as a permanent memorial.
