Wancuilou Museum

Wancui building is the first private museum of ancient architecture in China, which is very famous in the local area. The museum displays a large number of cultural relics, as well as more than 500 contemporary celebrities' calligraphy and paintings and 900 precious inkstones, which are not isolated and can be touched and appreciated from a close distance. You can also go up to the terrace on the top floor to overlook the old street.

Located in Tunxi Old Street at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, this museum, called "Wancui building", covers an area of more than 2000 square meters. The exhibition is mainly based on the layout and furnishings of Huizhou ancient buildings to reproduce the historical scene. Through the exhibition of 800 collections and documents, it intuitively interprets the extensive and profound Huizhou culture, making visitors feel like they are in the long river of history. There are rich and exquisite cultural relics in the collection: the stone Buddha head of the late Northern and Southern Dynasties (grade I); the most famous of the four famous inkstones is She Inkstone; one of the four famous ancient Chinese academies is Ziyang Academy; the most famous of Huizhou stone carvings is Kuixing diandou (Yongle); the imperial edict of the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty; the collection plate of "colorful mother of Pearl lacquer" is Huizhou's exquisite craft.
