Gongjing town

Gongjing Town, belonging to Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Yuzhong County, adjacent to Zhonglianchuan Township in the southeast, Xiaguanying town and Jinya town in the west, and haxian Township and shanghuacha Township in the north. The area is 236.82 square kilometers. In 2018, 7519 people registered residence.

In 1949, Gongjing district was established. In December 1964, it was changed into Gongjing commune. In May 1983, it was changed to Gongjing township. In 2016, the township was removed and the town was built. In June 2020, nine administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Gongjing town.

In 2018, Gongjing town has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1949, Gongjing district was established.

In April 1958, the district was withdrawn and reduced to Gongjing township; in September of the same year, the Hongqi commune of Yuzhong County was changed to Gongjing people's grassroots commune.

In May 1961, he was transferred to Gongjing Working Committee.

In December 1964, it was changed into Gongjing commune.

In May 1983, it was changed to Gongjing township.

On December 15, 1999, some villages in lujiagou Township were assigned to Gongjing township.
