Langtang Town, subordinate to Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province, is located in the northwest border of Xinhua County, adjacent to Zishui, Anhua County and Xupu County, 40 km away from the county. At present, it has jurisdiction over 50 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a total area of 127.75 square kilometers (2017), including 30403 mu of cultivated land (2200 mu of paddy field and 8430 mu of dry soil), 54000 mu of water surface area, and a total population of 47812 (2017).
