Combshop Village

Maozipu township is located in the southwest of Lingling District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, 42 kilometers away from the residence of the District People's government. It is adjacent to fujiaqiao town in the East, Shuikoushan town in the south, Zhushan Town in the west, huangtianpu town and shishanjiao town in the north. It is higher in the southeast and lower in the northwest. The township has a total area of 99.82 square kilometers (2017) and a total population of 28906 (2017).

Geography and climate

The total area of the township is 99.82 square kilometers (2017), with 1895.47 hectares of cultivated land and 28906 people (2017). It is higher in the southeast and lower in the northwest. To the East is the remaining vein of Dupangling, with high mountains and luxuriant forests. In the west, there are hills, rich in Camellia oleifera, pines and fir. Between the East and the west, there are long and narrow valleys and basins, connecting eight villages, including daguyuan, labashan, furongtang, shuzipu, Tiandong, shishanjiao, longjiaojing and shenjiapu, covering an area of nearly 1000 mu. The main crops are mainly rice, which is rich in Trichosanthes kirilowii, flue-cured tobacco, peanut, soybean, corn and other agricultural and sideline products. Fruit planting is mainly navel orange, Shatian pomelo, Naili, chestnut, citrus. There are joint-stock forest farms, decorative arts and crafts factories, charging factories, vermicelli factories and other township enterprises.
