Bainiu town is located 15 kilometers northeast of Dengzhou City, adjacent to Jitan town in the East, Yaodian Township in the south, Zhanglou Township in the west, Xiaji Township and Wandong town in the north. The town covers an area of 75.4 square kilometers, with 25 administrative villages, 94 natural villages, 271 villager groups, 11820 households and 50006 people. The cultivated area is 74000 mu.

It belongs to subtropical monsoon continental climate, with four distinct seasons, and is the transition zone of North-South climate. The rivers crisscross, Yanling River and Tuan River run from east to west, Zhao River, hanjiujiang River and Yanling canal connect north to south, and the river branches interweave. It is a beautiful "water town".
