Jiang Tangzhen

Jiangtang town is located in the western suburb of Wucheng District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, 15 kilometers away from the city center. It is adjacent to Wucheng New District in the East, Jinxi Economic Development Zone in the South and West, and Lanxi City in the north. It is the center of Jinqu basin. Zhejiang Jiangxi railway, Hangzhou Changsha high speed railway, South line of Hangzhou Jinhua Quzhou expressway, Jinhua hongdai highway, Third Ring Road and baitangxia highway pass through the town. Jiangtang railway station is the largest cargo distribution center in Jinxi, 5 kilometers away from xiapan interchange of Hangzhou Jinhua Quzhou expressway. Jinhua civil aviation airport and south line interchange of Hangzhou Jinhua Quzhou expressway are in the territory, so the traffic is very convenient.

Jiangtang town has 35 administrative villages with a total population of 24912 (2017) and a total area of 55.5 square kilometers. The construction of market towns is changing with each passing day. The roads of the town are spacious and beautiful, and the green trees on both sides are full of shade. At night, the lights are shining brightly, forming a beautiful rural market town with ancient famous townships and modern construction. Jiangtang town is rich in land resources and products, known as "the land of fish and rice in the south of the Yangtze River". With the rapid development of economic construction, people's life has been constantly improved. We will form a distinctive agricultural industry with watermelon, flue-cured tobacco, flower seedlings, dairy cattle and Muscovy duck as the main products. We will establish an economic structure with four major manufacturing industrial systems of clothing, dairy products, electrical machinery and building materials, coordination of agriculture, sideline industry and commerce, and combination of domestic and foreign trade. Jiangtang town is a "strong education town" at the provincial level, a "strong education town" at the municipal level, and an "advanced collective" in Wucheng District.
