Jinger Road Street

Jingerlu street, belonging to Weibin District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Weibin District, with Jinling street in the East, Qiaonan street across Weihe River in the south, Xiguan Street in the West and Zhongshan Road Street in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 1.68 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 1.91 kilometers, with a total area of 2.8 square kilometers.

Jingerlu street has the Yan Emperor Temple and Baotian Martyrs Memorial Hall.

Historical evolution

It got its name because there are two streets in the area.

In 1956, it was composed of Xinmin Road, Jiefang market and Minquan road.

In December 1958, it was merged into Jintai district along with Weibin District.

In July 1960, it was changed into jingerlu branch of Jintai commune.

In December 1962, it was renamed jingerlu street.

In 1966, it was renamed Hongqi Road street.

In April 1971, it was changed into hongqilu commune.

In January 1981, it was changed into Hongqi Road Street in Weibin District.

In November 1985, it was restored to Jinger road.
