Fangting Street

Fangting street is subordinate to Shifang City, Sichuan Province. Its office is located in Shifang City, which is one of the top ten counties (cities) in Sichuan Province. It is the urban part of Shifang City. It is located in the northwest of the West Sichuan Plain (37 ° 1 ′ n, 134 ° 10 ′ E), which is famous as the Pearl of West Sichuan.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Deyang City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in five counties (cities, districts) including Jingyang district (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 15): Huilan town was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of fangting street, and Fangting Street office was located at No. 299, Tingjiang East Road.

General situation

Fangting is 50km away from the provincial capital Chengdu in the South and 25km away from Deyang City in the East. The town covers an area of 9km2. There are 63 provincial and municipal units, 17 community residents committees and 142 residents groups under its jurisdiction, with a total population of 85689 (in 2010), including 25000 agricultural population. Fangting has excellent infrastructure and rapid urban construction. There are many famous enterprises such as Shifang cigarette factory, blue sword group and so on. Fangting has a long history of more than 2000 years, with Luohan temple, the Buddhist capital of Xichuan. In the process of reform and opening up, fangting people have inherited the fine tradition of the Chinese nation's continuous self-improvement and hard work, and always let the ancient city radiate the flavor of youth. Since the western development, with the joint efforts of fangting people, fangting's economy has reached new heights and its GDP has been growing at a high speed, which has laid a solid foundation for Shifang to remain the second place in Sichuan's "top ten counties (cities)".

Social services

Fangting has a comfortable and superior living environment, and the construction of urban community is booming. At present, the office facilities and service facilities of 17 communities are becoming more and more complete, and they perform many functions such as social security, comprehensive management, family planning, urban health management, etc., providing excellent living environment and fine and thoughtful services for the masses. Community security is good and residents live and work in peace and contentment. The community is rich in cultural life, such as Yangko, waist drum, fitness ball and Taijiquan. Whether in the morning or evening, whether in the park or in the square, residents are active and flexible everywhere. Since 2011, under the promotion of the activity of "striving for excellence", fangting sub district office of Shifang City has strengthened the construction of convenient service system, comprehensively implemented the whole process agent service system for the people, and served the residents well, with the focus on strengthening the administrative efficiency construction of organs, the goal of strengthening grassroots organizations, and the purpose of "facilitating, benefiting and serving the people". Double support work

The sub district Party Working Committee and the sub district office have always put the dual support work on the important agenda. The sub district office and the garrison have set up a leading group for the dual support work. The military and local sides have deployed full-time and part-time cadres in charge of the dual support work. In combination with their respective actual conditions, they have discussed the dual support plan and the key points of the dual support work, so that they have tasks at the beginning of the year, inspections in half a year, and evaluations at the end of the year Fang arrived at the actual thinking, organization and measures of the army. In recent years, while doing a good job of supporting both sides, fangting street has made every effort to overcome the difficulties, and has done a good job in preferential treatment and resettlement of veterans, and carried out activities to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of military families. Over the years, the sub district office has been awarded by the superior departments. In 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, it was rated as the advanced unit of conscription work by the municipal Armed Forces Department. In 2005, it was rated as the winning unit of tactical assessment in the military training of militia emergency unit. In 2007 and 2008, it was rated as the advanced unit of military equipment work. In 2008, it was rated as the advanced unit of militia emergency unit training.
