Liaolin Township
Liaolin township is a township under the jurisdiction of Dashu District, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the middle of Dashu District, Hanyuan County, which is a high mountain area in the middle and upper reaches of Shizigou. Dashu town and shaijing township are connected in the west, Dawei Mountain is adjacent to Guixian Township in the northeast, and Zhoushan volcano is at the junction of nimei Township in the south. It covers an area of 38.58 square kilometers and has a population of 5031 (2017).
Historical evolution
In ancient times, it was the land of qiongdu, a branch of GUI PI Guo. In the 13th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1585), because of rebellion, he was recruited and set fire to the camp. In 1710, Yang Chaofu, the chieftain of the Qing Dynasty, devoted himself to the task of granting the land to 100 households. He first ruled GUI Xian and then transferred materials to Linping. This place is named for its wide range of timber, so it is called liaolin tubaihu. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Liubao and Shibao of Dashu Town, Yuexi County. In 1951, it belonged to Hanyuan County. In 1952, it set up liaolin township. In 1958, it established people's commune. In 1984, it restored the township.
