Daqiao Yao township is located in the south of Lanshan County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. The township government is 30 kilometers away from tafeng town. It borders Lianzhou City in Guangdong Province in the East, Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in the south, Jingzhu Yao Township in the west, Ziliang Yao Township and Suo town in the north.

Historical evolution

Daqiao Yao nationality township uses the place name of residence. In ancient times, there was a bridge in this area, which was destroyed by soldiers in the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty.
