In 2005, the total output of grain, beans and potatoes was 125 million jin, and the full caliber output value was 380 million yuan, including 120 million yuan of agricultural output value, 240 million yuan of enterprise output value, 5.2 million yuan of financial revenue, and 4491.7 yuan of per capita income of farmers.

Lequn township is one of the earliest reclamation areas in Shuangcheng. In 1815 (the 20th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty), Zhongtun was set up. It was moved from Jilin Province to xiansanqi Ding, where 1000 people settled and cultivated. Three banners, Zhenghong, Xianghong and zhenghuang, were set up. During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the Second District of Shuangcheng county. In the late period of northeast occupied by Japanese, Xingli village and xingrurality village were set up. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was divided into the eighth district at the end of the same year. In December 1948, it was changed into the ring District, and then into the eighth district. In March 1956, the township was divided into Lequn, gengqin and Fuli. In September 1958, the Lequn people's commune was established. In 1983, it was changed into Lequn Township, and in May 1985, it was changed into Lequn Manchu Township. The Manchu population accounts for 32.2% of the total population of the township.
Economics
The terrain of Lequn township is high in the north and low in the south, most of which are black soil and black clay. The total area of the township is 88.25 square kilometers, with 149500 mu of arable land. The main food crops are corn, soybean, millet, sorghum, wheat, etc.; the main economic crops are beet, flax, etc. Township run industries are agricultural machinery repair, wood, oil rice processing, brick factory, etc. The township governs 13 villages, including Youhao, Fuzhi, Guanghui, national day, Lequn, Youlian, Fuqin, Jinxing, gengqin, Guanghua, Lemin, Guangyao and Guangming. Among them, 11 villages are zhenghongqitoutun to Wutun, xianghongqitou, Ertun and Wutun, zhenghuangqitou, Santun and situn. The resident population was 15181 (2017). The township government is located in hongqitoutun, a friendly village.
