Canggou Township
Canggou Township, belonging to Wulong District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Wulong district. It is adjacent to Luming township of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County in the East, Jiangkou Town in the south, Huolu town and Tudi Township in the west, Tongzi town and Houping Miao and Tujia Township in the north. It is 56 kilometers away from the residence of Wulong District People's government, with a total area of 73.5 square kilometers.
In 1930, Canggou township was established; in December 1955, Guanmiao Township and Dashui Township were merged into Canggou township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Canggou township was 10631. As of June 2020, Canggou rural area has five administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Canggou Xinchang.
