Sanjia Township covers an area of 95 square kilometers, with a total population of 17788 and a cultivated land area of 12029 mu. There are 22 enterprises distributed in 11 administrative villages of the township. The economic structure is mainly industrial. The total income of township enterprises accounts for more than 95% of the total income of rural economy of the township. In 2003, the total output value of rural society was 610 million yuan, including 596 million yuan for township enterprises, 14 million yuan for agriculture, 718 million yuan for rural economy, 680 million yuan for township enterprises, and 2705 yuan for farmers. It produces 842000 tons of coke, 31400 tons of carbon products and 4.5 million kg of grain.

The cadres and the masses of the whole Township worked together and made innovations. The process of agricultural industrialization was greatly accelerated. In xiacaoma, Chongxian and Sanjia villages, 300 mu of high standard vineyards were newly built. Xiacaoma, xisongding and dongzhanquan dairy farming communities have begun to take shape, with more than 10 dairy farmers reaching 15 households, with an annual output of 900 tons of milk. Sanjia, Wencun, dongzhanquan broiler breeding development momentum is good, annual production of 200000 broilers. Thanks to the favorable investment environment and convenient transportation conditions, the three best industrial enterprises have been continuously optimized and upgraded, and the new enterprise Dafosi silicon brick factory is about to put into operation. The carbon enterprises represented by Suda electrode paste and Xinguang carbon have a bright future. Small and medium-sized enterprises, such as dongzhanquan coking plant and Dingxin chemical plant of the Western Song Dynasty, have seized the market opportunity and formed production and sales channels of various varieties and fields.
