In 1707, NANPENG street was under the jurisdiction of Zhongli Yijia, Baxian County; in May 2009, NANPENG town was changed into NANPENG street. History of construction

In December 1949, NANPENG belonged to nine districts.

In November 1951, NANPENG township was divided from nine districts into 12 newly established districts (Jieshi District).
