Jianfeng Town, subordinate to Ledong Li Autonomous County of Hainan Province, is located in the northwest of Ledong Li Autonomous County, adjacent to Jianfengling in the East, fro town in the southeast, Nanhai in the West and Dongfang City in the north. The administrative area of the town is 205 square kilometers.

After October 1958, it was transferred to Ledong County and Jianfeng commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to Jianfeng district office. In 1987, it was changed into Jianfeng town. By the end of 2018, 31700 people in the town had a registered residence. As of June 2020, Jianfeng town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Jianfeng town is located in niuweitou village.
