In order to increase farmers' income, we must adjust measures to local conditions, choose a project with less labor input, less capital injection, and relatively low scientific and technological content, which can be accepted by the masses, so as to develop in Magong township. After one or two, two or three to repeatedly investigate and study, planting Bupleurum! the development of Chinese herbal medicine is suitable for the soil, climate conditions, rural labor force and economic status of the township. Secondly, the market prospect of Bupleurum is very good. It has high medicinal value, simple planting technology and less investment, and is suitable for farmers in remote areas to plant large areas. Third, due to the SARS attack in 2003, the inventory of Bupleurum in China is small; in addition, the process of traditional Chinese medicine drinks is speeding up, the market demand of Bupleurum is considerable, and the price is rising steadily. At the same time, the transformation of land resources to land capital in Magong township is still making great strides forward. 4100 mu of barren hills are transferred for industry, all of which are used for the development of traditional Chinese medicine. The barren hills transfer mechanism of "one point, two links, three implementation and four services" has been established, and preferential policies have been issued. The township government stipulates that the transferred barren hills can be afforested, drugs must be planted under the forests, and the policy of returning farmland to forests is enjoyed, without any formalities It's not difficult for the owner to pay the fee. In 2003, 6700 mu of Bupleurum was planted on barren hills and slopes in the township. The root yield per mu was 300-500 Jin, stem yield 300 Jin and seed yield 30 jin. Excluding the labor and seed cost, the income per mu was about 1000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers in the township was 2300 yuan. However, farmers have grown more than ten kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as bupleurum, Coptis chinensis, Angelica sinensis, and so on, which is bound to obtain greater economic benefits.
