Ludong town

Ludong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Jingxi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was established from Ludong township. On July 31, 2014, Ludong town held a listing ceremony in the new office area of Zhenfu. The masses of Ludong Street spontaneously organized dragon dance, lion dance and other traditional performances to celebrate the removal of villages and towns, which attracted more than 1000 people from Ludong street and surrounding villages to watch.

On May 26, 2020, Ludong town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.

geographical environment

Ludong town is located in the west of Jingxi City, 13 kilometers away from the city. It is close to Xinjing town in the East, tunpan Township and ande town in the west, Dizhou Township and Anning Township in the south, Longlin Township and Xinjia Township in the north, and Jingmeng highway runs through the East and West, so the traffic is very convenient. there are two surface rivers, longhuang River and Dashi river. Longhuang river has abundant water source and continuous running water all year round, which can meet the water demand of Fujin village, Ludong street and yaoe village. Dashi river is a seasonal river, and the area from biaoliang village and Nonghua village to Xiaorui village is rich in underground water. The territory is rich in bauxite resources, with a small amount of pyrite.

It mainly grows rice, corn, peanuts and soybeans all year round. Its cash crops include flue-cured tobacco, silkworm, sugarcane, fruit, pepper and Chinese herbal medicine. In 2007, the per capita net income of farmers was 1689 yuan, and in 2008, the per capita net income was 1759 yuan, an increase of 4% over 2007.
