Xishuangpu Town, belonging to Yingshang County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, was originally under the jurisdiction of Xinji district. On May 1, 1999, the township government withdrew the township to build a town. Sanshilipu, the resident of the town government, is located 15 kilometers west of Yingshang city. It borders on Shilipu and Jianying in the East, Liushipu in the west, Xinji in the north and gengpang in the south. As of 2013, the town covers an area of 51.21 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 9 administrative villages and a neighborhood committee, 171 villager groups, 124 natural villages, 54000 mu of arable land. According to statistics, the annual sales revenue of the "three powder" industry in the town is 130 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 3190 yuan (2013 data).

Sanshilipu, the resident of the town government, is located 15 kilometers west of Yingshang city. It borders on Shilipu and Jianying in the East, Liushipu in the west, Xinji in the north and gengpang in the south. In 2003, the town's GDP was 83.15 million yuan, with a total grain output of 7629 tons, 255 tons of oil, 114 tons of cotton and 1237 tons of meat; in 2009, the town's GDP was 88.61 million yuan, with a total grain output of 21534 tons, 818 tons of oil, 848 tons of cotton and 694 tons of meat; according to statistics, the annual sales revenue of the "three powder" industry was 130 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3190 yuan, an increase of 21.8%.

Main industry

The main crops in xishuangpu town are red taro, wheat, corn, sesame, soybean, rape and cotton. Under the strong leadership of the town Party committee and the government, in line with the working idea of "strengthening the base, expanding the processing, comprehensive utilization and speeding up the circulation", we have highlighted the development and expansion of the red taro "three powder" (namely: vermicelli, vermicelli and vermicelli) industry. Every year, 42000 mu of spring and summer red taro are planted, with an annual output of hundreds of millions of kilograms of fresh potatoes. In order to adapt to the market demand as soon as possible, further expand and strengthen the red taro three flour industry, and realize the comprehensive utilization of sweet potato resources, the people of xishuangpu town have realized the "four major changes" of three flour from winter processing to annual processing, manual processing to mechanical processing, rough processing to deep processing, and single processing to comprehensive processing of medicine and chemical industry.

By 2013, there were 298 vermicelli processing plants in the town, processing more than 80000 tons of vermicelli and vermicelli annually, with an output value of 150 million yuan. At the same time, it has set up e-commerce website, Sanfen exhibition platform, Sanfen Industrial Park of 300 mu, Sanpu Agricultural Trade Co., Ltd., xinheyuan Sanfen professional association, virus-free sweet potato professional association, etc. "Xinxinhehe" and "xinheyuan" brand Sanfen series products have applied for patents and sold in large quantities to more than 30 provinces (cities) in China, gradually occupying the major shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants in China, and are favored by the majority of customers. The prosperity of one industry brings prosperity of all industries. The rapid development of Sanfen industry has strongly promoted the rapid development of transportation, catering service and breeding industry in the town. In 2001, the town Party committee and government seized the opportunity of "World Bank loan" and vigorously developed beef cattle breeding projects, which effectively promoted the development of rural economy. Drawing lessons from the flood disaster in summer of 2003, the whole town has strengthened the rehabilitation and reconstruction of farmland and water conservancy infrastructure in all villages, improved more than 2000 mu of low-lying farmland, built more than 2100 bridges, culverts, gates and wells, and basically realized well irrigation matching in all villages to ensure irrigation and drainage of drought and flood, and effectively guaranteed the income of agricultural production. By the end of 2003, 3000 telephones had been opened in the whole town, and three-level broadcast coverage networks of the town, village and team had been realized. Education and health had developed rapidly. Affected by the SARS epidemic, the town government had increased investment in medical institutions and medical facilities, and medical rooms had been set up in villages, which significantly improved the medical level of the whole town.

In 2003, the enrollment rate of school-age children in the whole town was 99.9%, the number of students in school reached 7068, the education popularization rate was 100%, and the "double base" education reached the standard. By the end of 2003, all 17 administrative villages and one neighborhood committee in the town had reached the standard of well-off society. A number of specialized factories, such as improved crop breeding plant, Sanfen fine processing plant, wood processing plant, beef cattle farm, Boer goat farm, etc., have been built and achieved obvious economic benefits. By 2013, township enterprises in the town had developed rapidly. There are 13 kiln factories, 4 Jingdian flour factories and more than 200 refrigerators. Xinxing compound fertilizer factory and Anhui Fuyang Yongxiang improved variety Service Co., Ltd. have become the leading enterprises in the town, with considerable benefits.
