Chengkou town

Chengkou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Renhua county, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northeast of Renhua county, 38 kilometers away from Renhua county. It connects Changjiang town and Fuxi town in the East, Danxia street in the south, Hongshan Town in the West and Sanjiangkou town in Rucheng County, Hunan Province in the north. Chengkou is a territory of Renhua and was established as a town in 1986. National Highway 106 and Wuhan Shenzhen Expressway (Renhua section) run through Chengkou town. In the Southern Qi Dynasty (479-502), Renhua county was first established, and Shixing County was the county of Hunan.

An ancient village

EN village, Renhua county town, is a small mountain village of more than 200 households. Meng niansi, the first ancestor of the Mongolian family, came to Shaozhou from Yudu, Jiangxi Province to do business in Yuanfeng, Shenzong of Song Dynasty, and lived in Renhua en village. By the third generation of Mongolians, who had won the imperial examination in Qingyuan period, was appointed as the magistrate of Renhua county by Emperor ningzong of Song Dynasty. Former residence of lieutenant general Tan Furen

The former residence of lieutenant general Tan Furen is located in Guangjie, Chengkou town. Tan Furen (1910.04.01-1970.12.17) was the founding lieutenant general of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. On December 16, 1970, Tan Furen, who had been working all day, took a late rest in his house in Kunming. Who would have thought that a few hours later, at about 5 a.m. on the 17th, the general who had been galloping in the battlefield for decades did not fall under the enemy's bullets, but fell under the murderer's black gun in the peacetime. Wang Liyan, his wife, was also killed. In memory of lieutenant general Tan Furen, the Chengkou town government protected the house where Tan Furen once lived and actively carried forward Tan Furen's revolutionary spirit.
