Laomu Township

Old town name. See Guanzi town for details. Yuanlaomu township is located in the north of Yilong County, 80 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Zhanggong town in the East, Guanzi town in the south, Xianfeng town in the West and wangya town in Langzhong City in the north, covering an area of 19.29 square kilometers.

Most of the territory is shallow hills, the terrain is slightly higher in the East and lower in the west, higher in the north and lower in the south. The ground elevation is generally 400-450 meters. Yilong County governs the township. Laomukou, an ancient name, was built in 1952. In 1955, it was incorporated into Zhanggong, Guanzi and Guanyin townships. In 1962, it was restored to laomukou. In 1992, it was incorporated into Guanzi town. In 1994, it was restored to laomuxiang.
