Liangjiao township is subordinate to Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. In 1958, it belonged to the good education brigade of Qiaotou commune. In 1961, it was divided into Liangjiao commune. In 1984, it was changed into a good religion Hui nationality township. On November 6, 1985, it was changed into Liangjiao township. In October 2019, Liangjiao Township governs 12 administrative villages.
