Wenchong Street

Wenchong sub district office, established in August 2002, is located in the east of Huangpu District government. It covers an area of 10.07 square kilometers and has a total population of 46877 (2010).

Wenchong sub district office has four communities: Wenchong, petrochemicals, Kaiyuan and Hai'an. Under the jurisdiction of the sub district office, there are a number of large, medium and small-sized enterprises, such as Guangzhou petrochemical complex, one of China's top 500 large petrochemical enterprises, and "trust Mart", a large shopping mall.

Since the establishment of the street, through the joint efforts of the whole street people, the economy has been growing steadily year by year, and the people's living standard has been continuously improved.
