Xingsha street, belonging to Changsha County, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is bounded by Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway and Xianglong street in the west, Hangzhou Changsha Expressway and quantang street in the south, Ansha town in the north, Changlong street and Huanghua town in the East, with a total area of 24.53 square kilometers and a built-up area of 19.62 square kilometers. It governs 20 communities with a total population of about 250000.

Xingsha street, the seat of Changsha County and Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hunan Province, is the economic, political and cultural center of the county. The origin of the name

Xingsha street was formerly known as Wangxin township. In 1992, Changsha county decided to move Changsha county to establish a development zone and select Wangxin Township, which was renamed Xingsha town

First, according to historical records, when ancient astronomers observed the astronomical phenomena, they chose a number of galaxies as the marks of positioning observation, creating the theory of twenty-eight constellations. In 1949, it belonged to Langli and Mingdao township.

In 1958, it belonged to Huanghua commune.

In 1961, Zhiwang new commune was established.

In 1965, luoxitang commune was established.

In 1983, they set up Wangxin Township and luoxitang Township respectively.

In 1993, Wangxin township was withdrawn and Xingsha town was established.

In May 1995, luoxitang Township in Huanghua district was merged into Xingsha town. The town government is located at 1 Kaiyuan Road.

In 2009, according to xiangminxingfa No. 10, Changsha County abolished Xingsha town and established three streets, namely Xingsha, Xianglong and quantang. Xingsha Street governs the east of Beijing Zhuhai Expressway and the north of Changyong Expressway in Xingsha Town, with a total area of 24.53 square kilometers, a built-up area of 19.62 square kilometers and a total population of about 149300. The office is located at No. 3, Kaiyuan East Road.

On April 18, 2012, Xingsha sub district office moved to Wangxian East Road.

In December 2019, three new communities, xiantangling, madaling and wangshengqiao, will be built in Xingsha street.
