Hushan Township

Hushan township is located 15 kilometers southeast of Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province. Guangbai highway, Beijing Kowloon railway transit. With a total area of 140 square kilometers and 45874 people (in 2018), it is a large agricultural township and a demonstration production and processing base of high-quality commodity grain in the county. There are "Caigong bridge", the cemetery of Huangguang battle martyrs, the battle site of Hushan village and the stone statue of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. Rich in mineral resources, industrial rock reserves ranked first in the city.

Historical evolution

In 1975, jianzhuanqiao commune established Hushan commune, and in 1981, it was changed to township system. In 2005, Caiqiao township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Hushan township. Caiqiao township is located in the southeast of Guangshan County. Originally belonging to Huaidian Township, Caiqiao township was built in 1985. In 1997, it covers an area of 45.2 square kilometers and has a population of 19000. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages in zhengweizi, Hudian, Zhaogang, Caiqiao, Yandun, liangzhongchang, zhaoqiao, Tianci City, Youfang, Yufan and a neighborhood committee in Caiqiao street.
