It is 10 kilometers away from 207 National Road in the East, and the roads are crisscross in the territory. It has the second largest deep-water port in western Guangdong, Liusha port. Liusha port is not only the second channel from the mainland to Hainan, but also the golden waterway from the mainland to Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries. In recent years, our town has given full play to its resource advantages, determined the working idea of "prospering the town with port and prospering the town with characteristics", vigorously developed coastal industries and sought new economic growth points relying on the port. We should strive to build Qindou into a central coastal town with prosperous commerce, beautiful environment and harmonious society in the shortest time.

History and culture
Tangbian Catholic Church
From the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China, with the religious culture of Xuanmen, Buddhism and Catholicism flowing into Leizhou Peninsula in Zhanjiang, France, Britain and other countries built some religious buildings in Leizhou Peninsula in Zhanjiang. However, with the passage of time, some of these ancient buildings have collapsed, some of them have been demolished in political movements in different historical periods, and the remaining foreign buildings have been destroyed Very few. In Tangbian village, Qindou Town, Leizhou City, Zhanjiang, there is a Catholic church built in 1933, which has become the most intact building in the southwest of Haikang. According to the records of Haikang county annals, the church was established by the French priest Gao Miqian in the 22nd year of the Republic of China. In 1953, the French priest Gao Miqian was deported by the government to stop the religious movement. In 1986, the church resumed the religious movement. Tangbian village church, with a significant foreign building style, surrounded by the remains of the turret and wall, the scale is very magnificent. Seeing these, it seems that the fierce pictures of villagers fighting with bandits and Japanese devils in the past are emerging again. Li Peng, a village cadre, told the author that according to the eight or 90 year old people in Tangbian village, during the anti bandit and anti Japanese movements, the whole village and even the villagers of several neighboring villages were hiding in the church. At that time, there were high and solid walls and turrets around them. The villagers hid in the turrets and used gunpowder guns to shoot Japanese devils or bandits, which made many villagers escape from the disaster Disaster. During the Anti Japanese period, the Japanese once wanted to bomb the church by plane. When they saw that the church was planted with the French flag, they gave up bombing the church. After liberation, the church used to be the office building of the production team, the sports ground of the Party branch in Tangbian Township, and the cultural movement center in the village. Every year, during the grand Catholic Festival, believers from far and near such as Zhanjiang hold a grand movement here, and the villagers consciously protect this historic construction in the period of the Republic of China.
