Lanying Township, subordinate to Wuxi County of Chongqing, is located in the eastern border of Wuxi County, connecting Shennongjia of Hubei Province in the East, Guanyang town of Wushan County in the south, Tongcheng Town in the west, Shuangyang Township and yintiaoling ginkgo primeval forest in the north. In the Qing Dynasty, Lanying Township belonged to the white orchard of shibajia in Tongcheng city; in June 1981, it was changed from Qinglong commune to Lanying township.
