Ehu town

Ehu Town, subordinate to Qianshan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Qianshan County, adjacent to Qingxi service center of Qianshan County in the East, Yongping town and Jiaxuan Township in the south, Hekou town in the west, Xintan Township and dongtuan township of Shangrao economic and Technological Development Zone in the North. With a total area of 106 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages. In late 2018, the town of goose had 39 thousand registered residence population.

History of construction

In 1958, Fenglai Township and Ehu Township were established; in 1963, Fenglai Township and Ehu Township were merged into Ehu people's commune; in 1981, several villages on the North Bank of Xinjiang River were set up to establish Panluo people's commune; in August 1984, the commune was withdrawn to restore the township and village system, and the name of Ehu township was restored; in January 1999, Ehu township was abolished and Ehu town was established; in September 2003, the reconstruction system of Panluo township was incorporated into Ehu town; in May 2006, Panluo township was established The reconstruction system was incorporated into Ehu town; June 2013. The mountainous area under the jurisdiction is more than 43300 mu. The highest peak is located in the southeast of Ehu mountain, 691.8 meters above sea level. The lowest point is located at the exit of Fenglai village, Ehu Town, with an altitude of more than 51 meters. In the southeast, there are many hills and dense forests. Ehu mountain is a national forest park. In the north of the boundary are exposed low hills of red stone sandstone, the highest points are huangchaozhai and shuangshiding, with an altitude of 146m and 147m respectively.

Ehu academy is located at the foot of Ehu mountain in Qianshan County. The mountain is a branch of Wuyi. It is named after the Ehu lake on the mountain. It is located on the west side of the former e Hu temple, 15 kilometers away from Hekou town. It is as famous as Bailuzhou Academy in Ji'an, Bailudong Academy in Lushan and Yuzhang Academy in Nanchang, and is also known as the "four academies in Jiangxi". In 1175, Zhu Xi, Lu Zuqian, Lu Jiuling and Lu Jiuyuan gathered here to give lectures. After the death of his fourth son, Yang ruli, the governor of Xinzhou, built a "four sages Temple" to commemorate his death. In 1250, the imperial court named Wenzong Academy.
