Simeng township is located in the northwest of Donglan County, covering an area of 124 square kilometers, 60% of which belongs to Shishan area. There are three ethnic groups of Zhuang, Han and Yao living in the township. It has 6 administrative villages, 123 villager groups, 218 natural villages, 2837 households and 13059 people.
