Wanjiazhai town is under the jurisdiction of Pianguan County in Shanxi Province. It belonged to Huanghe commune in 1958, Wanjiazhai commune in 1960, Wanjiazhai Township in 1984 and Wanjiazhai town in 1994. Wanjiazhai town is located in the northwest of the county, the intersection of Shanxi, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia.
