There is no red light in history. According to the records, today's "Hongguang" is commonly known as gaodianzi, which is under the jurisdiction of Xihe town. It was named HEXINGCHANG in 1911, changed to Hexing town in 1930, and changed to Hexing Township on August 1, 1940. The people's Government of Hexing township was officially established in April 1952. Because of the footprints of great men, there is now "red light". On March 16, 1958, Chairman Mao Zedong inspected Hongguang agricultural cooperative in Hexing Township and renamed it Hongguang people's commune. In 1982, Hongguang people's commune was changed into Hongguang township; in 1993, Hongguang town was changed from township to town, which is still in use today. In 2019, the existing Hongguang town will be abolished and Hongguang Street will be set up
