Xinzhou reclamation farm

Xinzhou reclamation farm, belonging to Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, formerly known as "state-owned Jiujiang red flag farm", was officially established on October 1, 1960 as a municipal agricultural reclamation enterprise. In 1962, it was divided and put under the jurisdiction of Chaisang District, and was renamed as "state-owned Xinzhou reclamation farm of Chaisang district".

Environmental Science

The site is located in the Yangtze River at the junction of Jiangxi, Hubei and Anhui provinces, under the jurisdiction of Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located at 29 & ordm; 42 n, 116 & ordm; 09 e, surrounded by the Yangtze River in the southeast and North, and adjacent to Jiangzhou town in the West. It faces Shizhong mountain and Poyang Lake Bridge in Hukou County in the southeast and Huikou town in Susong County in Anhui Province in the north. It is 25 kilometers away from Jiujiang City and 35 kilometers away from Jiangzhou District. The venue is 6.5 km long from east to west and 3 km wide from north to south, with a total area of 19.5 square kilometers. It has a population of 4685 (2010) and a land area of 13000 mu. Under the jurisdiction of 6 agricultural sub fields, 9 field run enterprises and institutions. The field is fertile, mainly producing cotton, rape, greenhouse vegetables, with an annual output of 30000 tons of lint and 2.8 million jin of rapeseed.

Jianchang

Over the past 40 years since the establishment of the site, the Party committee of the site has always been guided by Marxism Leninism, Mao Zedong thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", firmly established and implemented the scientific outlook on development, with the goal of building a "civilized, prosperous, beautiful and ecological new continent", led the vast number of land reclamation builders to rebuild their homes and develop their economy on the ruins after the breakwater three times, We will promote the development of material, spiritual and political civilization. The political, economic and cultural undertakings and the living standards of the staff and workers of the whole site have made gratifying changes compared with the initial stage of the construction. Cotton output has changed from low to high, agricultural development potential has changed from weak to strong, social welfare has changed from poor to excellent, and social atmosphere has changed from chaotic to good, which has been affirmed and praised by the provincial, municipal and county levels for many times. In 1990, the central Ministry of agriculture awarded the farm the "harvest Cup" trophy and the certificate of "the highest yield of Upland Cotton in the national land reclamation system". It was listed as the national high-quality cotton base and one of the 64 backbone land reclamation enterprises in the province.
