Fengle town is located in the northwest of Sandu County, the upper reaches of Duliu River, between 107 ° 41 ′ 45 ″ E and 107 ° 48 ′ 15 ″ N and 25 ° 58 ′ 15 ″ N and 26 ° 4 ′ n. Puan town in the East, Dahe Town in the south, Wengtai Township in Dushan County in the west, Yanghe Township and Jichang Township in Duyun City in the north, 26 km away from the county seat, with a total area of 101.7 square kilometers.

The traffic in the town is all automobile transportation, and the main roads are: a 88 km "three small" oil road from Duyun City to Sandu county through fengle town, which is in good condition and is the main road of traffic in the region; a 57 km road from Sandu county through fengle town and Pu'an town to Danzhai County in Qiandongnan Prefecture, which is an important channel of material transportation in the region, which is in good condition. this area is a low-lying area in the mountains, with an altitude of 420-1636 meters. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The climate belongs to the humid monsoon climate in the middle subtropical zone. The annual rainfall is 1500 mm, the average annual temperature is 17.6 ℃, and the frost free period is about 272-320 days. The two rivers meet in Machang village and flow into Duliu River in Dahe Town. The climate is mild and the rainfall is abundant. It is suitable for crop growth all the year round and is conducive to the comprehensive development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. Over the years, it is one of the important agricultural areas in the county.

It is mainly iron ore, mainly distributed in Wangcai village of Jiaoran village and aozhai village and plateau village of Heping District. The iron ore content is 42%, and the storage capacity is more than 200 million tons.
Historical evolution
Fengle town was originally located in Dahe district. In 1991, Dahe district was abolished and fengle and Heping townships were merged into fengle township. In October 2001, fengle township was replaced by fengle township. Fengle town governs 22 administrative villages, 119 natural villages, 170 villager groups and 4790 households. By the end of 2007, the total population of fengle town was 21888, including 21450 agricultural population. The minority population accounts for 95.9% of the total population of the town, 20793 people, mainly Buyi and Shui. There is one middle school and 17 primary schools in the town. All villages have access to water, electricity and roads.

The coverage rate of roads, electricity, mobile phones and fixed phones is 95.5%, 100%, 70% and 40%, respectively.

There are mainly rice, corn, wheat, economic crops are mainly fruit forest, early vegetables, rapeseed, beans and so on. Early maturing vegetables developed rapidly in villages along Xinli, rat farm, wotun, Jiaotong and Pingzhai highways, among which citrus planting developed better in wotun village. Breeding industry is also a major economic pillar of fengle town, which is mainly composed of large livestock and poultry. There are four markets in fengle town, namely Pingzhai, Jiaotong, rat farm and Heping. It is an important trade town in the northwest of Sandu county.

It has a total area of 2640.7 hectares, a stock volume of 60804 cubic meters and a coverage rate of 28.3%. There are many precious trees in the natural forest. The superior natural environment provides a good habitat and breeding place for all kinds of animals, and breeds rich wild animal resources.

For laowangshan natural scenic spot and Racecourse to enjoy karst cave. Laowang mountain has a large number of Camellia, YINGSHANHONG and other natural flower varieties. March to May is the season for camellia, YINGSHANHONG and other flowers to bloom, which is a good season for Laowang mountain tourism.
