Laoma town
Laoma Town, named after "laoma canal", is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Santai County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province.
Laoma town is a town set up in Santai County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province through the withdrawal of township. At the end of 2017, with the approval of the people's Government of Sichuan Province, Santai County abolished laoma Township and established laoma Town, with the former administrative region of laoma township as the administrative region of laoma town.
On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): Guanghui town and Licheng town were abolished, and their administrative areas were put under the jurisdiction of laoma Town, and the people's Government of laoma town was stationed at No. 19 Xiaxin street.

The old horse was called "old horse canal" in ancient times. It is said that the Bajiao Temple of emperor zhaolie Liu Bei was far away from Liu Zhang. Liu Zhang decided to flood Liu Bei's army in the Fujiang River, and Zhang Fei led his troops to retreat. Because the water was too fast for the horse to pass the canal, Zhang Fei was too impatient to cross the canal. Later, the place was called "old horse canal" by later generations.
Guanghui, formerly known as huilongchang. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and burned down by fire in the late Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, the shape of the earth and mountain is similar to the meeting of two dragons, so it is called huilongchang.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Santai County set up 4 roads and 28 townships, most of which were under the jurisdiction of East Road FangRi township (in laomaqu); Guanghui county was under the jurisdiction of North Road Longshui township (in gaoniankan, now Gaoyan township).
In the ninth year of the Republic of China, the Sichuan war broke out one after another. All localities strengthened the League training organization, and set up the League training offices in the upper and lower reaches of the country. FangRi village regiment training is stationed in laomaqu, while HUSHUI village regiment training is stationed in huilongchang.
In the 14th year of the Republic of China, Tuan Lian was changed into Tuan Jia, and laomaqu and huilongchang were set up as Tuan Jia offices.
In the 24th year of the Republic of China, the League set up the laoma joint protection, which is equivalent to the whole territory of laoma Township and most of Licheng Township, and set up the huilongchang joint protection.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China, the government of the Republic of China carried out the "new county system", and established laoma Township and huilongchang township as laoma Township and huilongchang Township respectively.
In 1951, the land reform was completed and the democratic construction of government was carried out. There are still laoma Township and huilongchang township.
In 1952, some village groups were divided from laoma Township and Zunsheng township (today's Zhengsheng town) to establish alliance township (the predecessor of today's Licheng township).
In 1955, the alliance township was abolished.
In October 1958, Feima people's commune was established in laoma district. The residence of the commune was moved from laoma canal to liujiaying. It has jurisdiction over 13 farming areas, including Liuying, laoma, huilongchang, Jianshe, Zhongtai, Changle, Liuying, Anning, Anping (now zhuanjiang), Lingxing, Suhe (now Qianfeng), Huayuan and Baiyi (now Guangming).
In 1960, the original area under the jurisdiction of Lianyungang township was restored, and mileage people's commune was established, which was named after the homonym of Li Cun BA (also known as Li Cun BA).
In 1961, the original Pegasus commune under the jurisdiction of the farming area to establish a separate commune, the restoration of the old horse commune, Huilong commune.
In July 1967, during the cultural revolution, Lao Ma was changed into Hongwei commune and Huilong into Guanghui commune.
In October 1981, the general survey of place names changed Hongwei to laoma commune, belonging to Liuying district.
In March 1984, the establishment of the commune was abolished, and the commune was re established as laoma Township, Guanghui Township and Licheng township.
In September 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was built. Guanghui was merged into Jianshe town. Mileage was merged into Liuying town. Laoma was set as laoma township.
In 1995, Guanghui was designated as Guanghui town.
In December 2017, Lao Ma Town and Li Li Town were set up respectively.
In December 2019, with the approval of Mianyang Municipal People's government, Guanghui town and Licheng town will be abolished, and their administrative areas will be put under the jurisdiction of laoma town. The people's Government of laoma town will be stationed at No. 19 Xiaxin street.

It is located in the north of Santai County and on the East Bank of Fujiang River, connecting Gaoyan Township and Shi'an town in the East, mileage Township and Liuying town in the south, Huayuan town and Jianshe town in the west, and Guanghui town in the north. It is 26 kilometers away from the county seat and 30 kilometers away from the urban area of Mianyang. Laoma town is the main production area of "Fucheng Ophiopogon japonicus" and the radiation area of Ophiopogon japonicus town. In 2015, the planting area of Ophiopogon japonicus was 5025 mu, the output of Ophiopogon japonicus was 2500 tons, and the output value was more than 80 million yuan.
