Xialengzhen

Xialeng Town, subordinate to Longzhou County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Longzhou county. The southern border of the motherland is adjacent to Longzhou town in the East, binqiao Township in the southeast, Vietnam in the West and south, and Shuikou Town in the north. The administrative area of xialeng town is 168.55 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 22111 people registered residence in the next town.

In 1953, the lower frozen area, also known as the third area, belonged to Longjin county. In February 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and the frozen Township and the layout Township were set up. In 1960, xialeng and Yanbian communes merged to form xialeng commune. In 1984, xialeng commune was changed into xialeng township. In 1992, xialeng township was changed into xialeng town. As of June 2020, xialeng town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 9 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in Shanzhou street, xialeng town.

Xialeng town is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The southern part of xialeng town is a mountainous area. The highest mountain "koumeiling" (Sino Vietnamese boundary mountain) is 813.7 meters above sea level. When you reach its top, you can see Longzhou in the East and Qixi in Vietnam in the West. To the north is Shishan District, which is located in the northwest corner of the township.
