Puyang economic and Technological Development Zone Puyang development zone was established in September 1992. In 1994, it was named provincial high tech Industrial Development Zone by the provincial government. In 1998, it was named "the first national Torch Plan biochemical industry development base" by the Ministry of science and technology. In March 2013, Puyang economic and Technological Development Zone was officially established. In 2015, it was selected as the Sixth Batch of national new industrialization demonstration bases of the Ministry of industry and information technology.

Listing time

On the morning of March 13, 2013, Puyang economic and Technological Development Zone was officially listed as a national development zone. So far, the number of national economic and technological development zones in our province has reached 9, ranking fifth in the country and first in the central and western regions.

In February 2015, the Ministry of industry and information technology announced the end of the Sixth Batch of national new industrialization industry demonstration bases. administrative division

The agricultural park was established in September 1997, thus forming the development pattern of "one zone and two parks" in Puyang development zone. In September 2005, it was approved by the national development and Reform Commission and named Henan Puyang economic development zone.
