Mazhen Temple
Located in the old city of Mazhen, Mazhen temple is the best preserved ancient architecture in Mazhen and the largest temple complex in Fugu County. It is composed of Longwang temple, Guandi temple, Niangniang Temple and Yudi temple. In 1982, the Fugu County Government designated the Mazhen temple as a key cultural relic protection unit. In December 2004, shijiakong, an eminent monk in Wutai Mountain, was granted the name of Longxing Temple. Mazhen temple was built in the 36th year of Qianlong (1771). It was expanded and rebuilt in the 36th year of Qianlong (1772).
