Ruyi lake is located in the center of CBD Central Park in Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou, surrounded by three landmark buildings of CBD: Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Henan Art Center and Zhengzhou Convention and Exhibition Hotel.

The water of Ruyi lake is connected with the constructed wetland through Ruyi river. It uses the ecological and environmental protection constructed wetland biological treatment technology to purify the lake water. At the same time, it uses the high and new technology of the United States to plant the akoman ecological base in the lake to purify the water quality, so that the water quality can reach the national surface water class III standard.

The bottom of Ruyi lake is paved with bentonite anti-seepage blanket. The natural mineral pozzolans compressed in the middle of the anti-seepage blanket expand with water, which makes the waterproof coefficient of the anti-seepage blanket greater. The anti-seepage blanket is paved with 30cm thick soil and pebbles, which can fully meet the growth of floating plants. The microorganisms in the soil can also clean the water body, avoiding the phenomenon of only laying anti-seepage membrane and damaging the ecological system.

Waterscape performance

The floating platform is 156 meters long and 70 meters wide. It is equipped with nearly 2600 sprinkler heads and more than 7200 underwater lights. The sprinkler heads can be adjusted up and down with the height of the lake. There are more than 20 kinds of fountain water types, and the main height of the fountain is 80 meters. It is a modern integrated numerical control technology integrating music fountain, water curtain film, art laser, characteristic lighting and multi music. With the ups and downs of music, water drops sometimes go out to sea like a dragon, sometimes bloom like a lotus, sometimes droop like willows, sometimes turn into athletes, sometimes turn into a kind Santa Claus, just like sports paintings and colorful poems. The beautiful Ruyi lake and the free water feature show every night make the visitors forget to return.

The wooden plank road around the lake is about 1000 meters long, providing an interesting hydrophilic platform for tourists to walk along the lake and have leisure. There are more than 20 kinds of ornamental fish such as sandinghong, Heijin and SANDAOLING in the lake. The lakeside is covered with trees, the surrounding buildings are flowing, the clear water reflects the high-rise buildings around, and groups of fish are swimming and jumping in the lake.

The northwest of Ruyi lake is a fashion culture square, which covers an area of about 10000 m2. It is an extension and supplement of the function of Zhengzhou Convention and Exhibition Center, and can be used as an outdoor exhibition venue for convention and exhibition activities. The square is not only the "living room" of the Eastern District, but also an integral part of the CBD Central Park. There is a long-term performance stage in the west of the square. Corporate image display, fashion model show, summer Gala and self entertaining civic cultural activities are continuously staged here.
