Canal Chinatown is located in Fengnan District of Tangshan City (Fengnan new urban area) on the Hunan side of Huifeng and on both sides of Tangjin canal, with a total length of nearly 1000 meters.

Main components

Canal Chinatown is an antique building of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is mainly composed of one and two floors. It is planned to build four groups with a total of 70 shops, with a total construction area of 30500 square meters, including 4 large buildings with an area of more than 2000 square meters, 5 medium-sized buildings with an area of 750 square meters, 4 quadrangle buildings with an area of 650 square meters, 56 small buildings with different forms, and a theater with an area of 1600 square meters.

Canal Chinatown Located in the center of Tangjin canal eco-tourism resort, Fengnan District, Tangjin canal Fengnan is 25 kilometers long, with ecological landscape on both sides. It is a national 4A standard eco-tourism resort. It attracts people from all over the country, gathers people's popularity, and makes the whole Chinatown a large-scale primitive business street with leisure, entertainment and shopping.

The first scenic spot

It is located in the core area of Fengnan new urban area, including Huifeng Lake Park, canal Chinatown and Oriental Dragon paradise. Huifeng lake park landscape belt is located in the north of canal Chinatown. Huifeng Lake Park project includes four scenic spots. First of all, the most beautiful and exquisitely carved Huifeng lake is located on the north side of Chinatown. The total width of the lake is 800 mu. There is a 200 meter long music fountain in the center. The highest water column in the center can reach 100 meters. Next to Huifeng lake is the citizen square, which provides people with a place for leisure and entertainment. Every night, two or three thousand people come to enjoy the fountain. The fountain has a unique shape. There are 11 kinds of exquisite water types. With the music rising and falling, the whole square, the lake and the fountain are connected into one. This fountain uses a variety of design elements such as fountain, lamp laser, projection, etc. it can spray 11 kinds of water types, which can attract many people's eyes and never tire of seeing. The investment in this part of the project is nearly 110 million yuan, and the scenery along the two sides of the river is particularly beautiful.

The public square project, just north of Huifeng lake, covers an area of 30000 square meters. It has been completed and put into use with an investment of 90 million yuan. The square is wide and grand, which can gather a large number of people.

Another scenic spot is the people's Park project. On the east side of the canal Chinatown, it is connected with the Qinglong river system and the Meihe river system, with a total investment of 120 million yuan and an area of 1680 mu. The last scenic spot is Zhaofeng Mountain project, which is 25.8 meters high on the north side of the administrative region center. A six corner pavilion has been built on the top of the mountain, which has been completed and put into use. Throughout the whole area, four scenic spots: Huifeng lake, citizen square, people's Park and Zhaofeng mountain constitute the landscape belt of Tangjin canal.

Another bright pearl is the most high-end large-scale theme park in China - Oriental Dragon Park. In the northwest of canal Chinatown, it is close to canal Chinatown, covering an area of about 1000 mu, including five scenic spots: Adventure forest, Rainbow Paradise, Arabian Nights, volcano park and ice age. It's full of experience, adventure and excitement, and the whole ocean is full of joy. The project specially employs Korean experts to plan and design, and the annual number of tourists is planned to reach more than 3.5 million. The entrances and exits of the amusement park are all built around Chinatown, together with Chinatown, a high-end commercial street, which constitutes the first scenic spot of the Tangjin canal ecological landscape belt.

The second and third landscape areas are located in the south of Chinatown. The west side of the river covers an area of 2000 mu, with fishing Park, ecological agricultural area, Leisure Club Resort, rowing base, a horse racing field and agricultural sightseeing park. On the east side of the river is the third scenic spot, which is dominated by Yaowang temple with strong history and culture. There are BaiCaoYuan health care center and other projects. The whole three scenic spots add up to the very influential Tangjin canal Ecological Resort landscape belt. Canal Chinatown is located in the center of this landscape belt, and it is also the center of Fengnan new urban area. Fengnan District government and Tangshan Municipal government have jointly built the four centers of Fengnan District (administrative center, cultural and educational center, high-end commercial center, and high-quality residential center). The north side of Huifeng lake is the seat of the eight bureau government. Along the northeast direction of the canal, you can get to the University City, including a number of colleges and universities such as coal medicine and technician college. Relying on the water resources of the Tangjin canal and the ecological landscape on both sides, the canal Chinatown creates the Ming and Qing Dynasties' antique architectural style, and highlights the magnificence of the northern gardens. A picture of the prosperity of the modern Qingming Festival is unfolding slowly on both sides of the Tangjin canal.

Development prospects

Canal Chinatown has become an important node to support the development of the 25 km eco-tourism resort along the Tangjin canal. It is adjacent to a large-scale entertainment theme park with an area of nearly 1000 mu, an investment of 2 billion yuan, a domestic first-class and international leading, and a "Tangshu No.1" high-end villa area with an area of more than 300 mu, an investment of 1.5 billion yuan and a North American style. After it is officially put into use on June 1, 2011, the canal Chinatown will attract tourists from all over the country and even all over the world to experience with its characteristics of folk business street and cultural industry.

Main activities

From April 29 to May 1, 2012, a large-scale lantern tour of canal Chinatown with the theme of "tasting the folk customs of Eastern Hebei and enjoying the customs of the canal" will be ceremoniously held in canal Chinatown in Fengnan District and the section of the canal to the south of Chinatown and on both sides of the Tangjin canal. As an important part of Fengnan canal Chinatown folk culture tourism festival, the exhibition area is 3.8 km long, divided into 6 sections and 106 light groups. Landscape engineering

Jintang canal governance project starts from Huifeng Lake in the north and ends at dongtianzhuang in the south. With the theme of "canal folk custom exhibition history, sports show vitality, ecological leisure return to nature", it plans and constructs cultural street landscape bridge, rubber dam (including ship lock), hub pumping station, canal folk custom business district, sports leisure district, ecological leisure experience area and other projects, striving to create the first-class landscape tourism in China District.

According to the plan, the regulation project will build the control gate hub of Tianjin Tang canal in the south section of Fengnan Xicheng District of Tianjin Tang canal, and the rubber dam in the north side of Tianjin Tang canal and Wenhua street, so as to form the cascade landscape effect of Xicheng District water system as a whole, and realize the perfect integration with the protection dike and green belt on both sides of the Strait.

The planned canal folk custom business district covers an area of 115000 square meters, with a construction area of 28000 square meters. The architectural appearance imitates the ancient buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Combined with modern functions, it integrates the traditional opera culture, tea culture and catering culture of Tangshan, and creates a prosperous commercial scene through city buildings, docks, lanes, commercial streets and waterfront buildings. In the sports leisure area, public outdoor sports venues, basketball, badminton and other sports leisure venues are set up, and sports parks for public fitness and entertainment are built.

The ecological leisure experience area takes the natural ecology as the design goal, the forest garden scale is pleasant, and the plants are rich.
