Pearl Sea

Pearl Sea is located in Yading scenic spot, Daocheng County, southwest edge of Sichuan Province, China. Strictly speaking, the Pearl Sea can only be regarded as a larger pool. The green color of the water glows in the morning sky, as if it is a dark emerald falling into the world. The water of the lake just reflects the majestic appearance of xiannairi. Although it is not complete, it is also enough to make the water of the lake full of the aura of Shenshan and full of vitality.

Introduction to scenic spots

The Pearl Sea, known as "zhuomalacuo" in Tibetan, is a sea formed by the melting snow of xiannairi. It covers an area of about 0.1 square kilometers. The Pearl Sea in the dense forest is like an emerald inlaid on the lotus throne, rippling with boundless beauty. Around the lakeside, it is as green as a screen. In spring, rhododendrons are in full bloom by the lake, and in autumn, the forests are dyed, reflecting the colorful world.

Pearl Sea is the nearest scenic spot to Aden village. It's about half an hour's walk from the Chonggu Temple grassland. Almost all the people who come to Aden will arrive there. Dazzled by the sun, I am still full of imagination of the Pearl Sea ahead.

Zhuoma lake is called "zhuomalacuo" in Tibetan. Zhuoma is a transliteration of "Dumu" in Tibetan, which means "Fairy", so zhuomalacuo is also called "Dumu Lake", which is translated into Chinese as fairy lake. It is a sea formed by the melting snow of xiannairi. It takes about half an hour to reach the Pearl Sea from Chonggu temple. This is the ideal place to take the reflection of the sun. The Pearl Sea is as flat as a mirror, reflecting the immortal Niri in its deep embrace. After the washing of holy water, the immortal Niri in the water seems to be more extraordinary and refined, with a kind of holy beauty that shakes the soul. If you are a photographer, you must not miss it. The beautiful "zhuomalacuo" is more like an emerald inlaid on the lotus throne, with clear water, the same color of sea and sky, and infinite beauty in the cloud shadow and wave light. There are several dead trees that have existed for many centuries in the lake. The trunk without bark is silvery white. One of them rises out of the water like a silver dragon. The lakeside is dense towering giant trees, green as a screen, the blue sky white clouds in the sky flying fast. The calm lake reflects the shadow of holy mountain, floating white clouds and colorful vegetation dyed by layers of forest. Beautiful scenery and reflection are integrated, presenting a colorful world, which makes people fascinated. The local Tibetans have a rule that when they come to the Pearl Sea, they can't speak loudly, shout or cough, but can only speak in a low voice. Otherwise, when there's a big movement, the wind will come up at a small level, and the wind, rain and snow will come up at a big level. This legend makes the Pearl Sea more sacred.
