Sanfeng Temple
Sanfeng temple is located in Guxiang village, Guanzhong village, Jingxi Town, Minhou County, Fujian Province. The temple faces three peaks, so it is named.
Because there is a Guxiang bridge nearby, it is also called "Guxiang Temple". Judging from the stone carvings in the temple, the temple was built in 1320, the seventh year of Yanyou reign of the Yuan Dynasty. The temple is located in the West and faces the East. It is built along the hillside. From east to West on the central axis, there are Tianwang hall, left and right side halls, Daxiong hall, Guanyin Pavilion and other buildings, with a construction area of more than 1000 square meters. The three halls and pavilions are five rooms wide, suspended on the top of the mountain and surrounded by wind and fire walls. The Tianwang hall has four rooms in depth, with wooden frame of reduced column and bucket; the Daxiong hall has six rooms in depth, with mixed wooden structure of lifting beam and bucket; the Guanyin Pavilion is a two-story wooden structure. There are many stone troughs and inscriptions of the Yuan Dynasty in the temple. In 1992, it was listed as the second batch of county cultural relics protection units.
