On December 24, 1937, the Anti Japanese armed uprising, Tianfushan uprising, was held in Weihai. The Tianfushan uprising created the first Anti Japanese national armed forces in Jiaodong, the third army of Shandong people's Anti Japanese National Salvation Army, and launched the first shot of the Anti Japanese war in Jiaodong. Tianfushan Uprising Memorial is located on the west side of the five thatched cottages at the site of the uprising. The external environment is very quiet, surrounded by green pines and cypresses, and towering ancient trees. There are some cultural relics of Tianfushan uprising, deeds, pictures and relics of revolutionary martyrs in the museum.

The museum treasures the precious cultural relics of Tianfushan uprising, the deeds, pictures and relics of revolutionary martyrs. Tianfushan Uprising Memorial is located in the center of Tianfushan forest park. Tianfushan Forest Park was established in October 1999 with the approval of the Forestry Department of Shandong Province. It is located in a hilly area, surrounded by mountains, alternate peaks and valleys, deep forests and lush grass, sweet springs and quiet environment, with Tianfushan and caochangan two state-owned forest farms as the center, with a total area of 2000 hectares. Far away from the hustle and bustle, the environment is fresh, just like a paradise. Since ancient times, it has been known as "Heaven blessed land", so it is named Tianfu mountain. Tianfushan Forest Park, due to the barrier of zhengqishan mountain in the north and the barrier of Jiashan mountain in the west, has formed a natural warm climate and created good living conditions for animals and plants. The whole forest park has luxuriant vegetation, and the forest coverage rate is more than 98%. There are more than 170 main tree species, flowers and trees. Another 250 year old tree, Gleditsia sinensis. There are 137 kinds of animal resources.

Today, Tianfushan has become a patriotic education base and a provincial forest park in Shandong Province. On the exhibition belt of more than 400 square meters in the exhibition hall of the memorial hall, there are pictures and texts, full and accurate descriptions of the indomitable revolutionary struggle history of the people led by the Jiaodong party organization of the Communist Party of China and the glorious fighting course of the uprising troops from weak to strong, fighting from south to North and killing the enemy bravely. The whole exhibition hall truly reproduces the whole process of Tianfushan uprising. The exhibition hall of Wendeng Party History Museum systematically records the arduous and glorious course of the local party organization of Wendeng and its great achievements in socialist construction with full and accurate information. The eastern part of the scenic spot is the former site of the armed uprising in Tianfu mountain. At that time, the only courtyard thatched cottage in the Yuhuang Temple (demolished) was the place where the leaders of the Jiaodong special committee led by Li Qi held a temporary meeting before the uprising;

A magnificent "Tianfushan Uprising Memorial Tower" was built on the top of the mountain in the north of the venue, carved with "a single spark can start a prairie fire" written by Mao Zedong and "Tianfushan Uprising Memorial Tower" written by Guo Moruo.
