Yuye Lake

Due to the blocking of mountains, the river water in Blue Moon Valley forms four large water surfaces, which are called "Yuye" lake, "Jingtan" lake, "blue moon" lake and "Tingtao" lake. Yuye lake is located in the upper reaches of Jingtan lake. Maybe the water level here is deeper, and the water contains a lot of copper ions, so it looks more blue.

Yuye Lake

In bange County, in the north slope of Hoh Xil mountain fault basin. There are many sand dikes along the shore of the ancient lake in the south of the shore, and the highest one is 30.0m above the lake level. The water level is 4850.00m, the length is 22.3km, the shoreline is 110.0km, and the development coefficient is 3.42.

Morphological description

There are three stone islands in the lake, of which the largest area is 2.05 km2, and the rest are 0.06 km2 and 0.05 km2

The average annual temperature is - 4.0 ~ 2.0 ℃, and the annual precipitation is about 100 mm. The catchment area is 2 019.7km2 and the recharge coefficient is 24.5. The lake water is mainly supplied by several seasonal rivers formed by the melting water of Nari snow mountain.
