Zhuan Village

Zhu an Zhai * 5 kilometers from the northeast of the county town, only 1.5 kilometers away from Guan Zhi mountain. The mountain ranges here stand upright, the valley is deep and the spring is quiet. The local people call it Jiewu village, also called Matou Mountain, also known as zhu'an village, which means that bamboo is a sign of peace.

Zhuan Village

Zhu an * Zhai is located on the northeast side of the connecting city of Liancheng and Lianhua cave in Liancheng, Fujian. Zhu'an village is a flat place built by Luo Xuemin, a gentry in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, in order to avoid war. The mountain is surrounded by steep cliffs, but the West and north slopes are slightly gentle. At that time, it was opened up as a way to advance and retreat, and a gate was built. At present, zhuanzhai scenic spot takes this as the center, including Matoushan, shanshuao, chapingdong and other hills, covering an area of 4.06 square kilometers.

The "Magnificence" of the scenic spot lies in the "Watergate wall". It is a very square rock wall with a height of several thousand meters and a thickness of several feet. It rises from the ground to form a barrier. The edge of the wall is vertical to form a door. The wall is like a stream flowing with waves. Therefore, it is named "Watergate wall". It is said that it was formed by the fracture of the rock layer during the ancient orogeny.

Through the secluded valley, climb the "Motianling" to the peak, the towering mountains, rugged mountain road, at a glance. Through the gate of the village, in the flat of the mountain nest, among the trees and weeds, looking for the remains of the ancient village, an ancient legend emerges. According to historical records, in 1857, Shi Dakai's troops of the "Taiping army" entered Liancheng, and some rich people saw the dangerous place as the best refuge. In the village, 39 houses are built, including halls, living rooms, kitchens and warehouse purlins; a Tianchi is dug on the top of the mountain to store rainwater for drinking and eating; a cutting gate is also built on the way to the back mountain to cut off the passageway; There is also a cutting gate at the top of Motianling, which is the only way for the fort and the bullet hole to guard the stone steps. There is a danger that one man will be in charge of the pass and ten thousand people will not be able to open it. Although there is no textual research on the legend, it is attached to the beautiful water of Lingshan mountain, which adds a bit of humanistic color.

In the northeast of zhu'an village, there is a steep cliff in Matou Mountain. The top of the cliff is concave in the middle and tilted sideways, which looks like a saddle. In the front of the cliff, there is a triangle stone which looks like a horse neck. The horse seems to be galloping, but it lacks a horse head. There is a fairy tale about Lei Gong splitting the horse's head in anger among the people.

Gaoaizhai stands at the foot of Matou Mountain, overlooking the southwest, you can see two round, flat topped stone cliffs. There is a huge cliff on the west side, which looks like an old woman's head. The way she shoulders the basket and looks back makes people recall the stories of Hakkas who were struggling, trudging, weather beaten and attached to their homeland. Therefore, this group of natural rock group sculptures is also known as "looking back to the Central Plains".

Lovers stone and mother and son elephant enter the mountain gate. Looking up, you can see two cliff stones standing opposite each other and separated by a gap in the middle. They are like a pair of lovers who are in love and can't give up. They are called lovers stone. After a few more steps, when you look at the lover's stone and the mountains behind it, you will see a mother elephant hobbling along with a baby elephant on her back.

On the hillside of Yunxian nunnery, there is a black rock with a pattern like a snail. On the top of the hillside not far away, there is a stone hanging like a boa constrictor, whose mouth is in the shape of a snail, so it is called the boa constrictor swallowing snail. So it's called a python swallowing snails. At the foot of the mountain, there is a natural stone tablet several meters high, which rises like a mirror and a wordless tablet. Looking up at the head of the boa constrictor from the foot of the mountain, it looks like the head of a frog, facing the wordless stele, so some people call it the mirror of God frog.

Yunxian temple is on the mountain in front of zhu'an village. During the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty, it was the Wugu Zhenxian temple, which was later burned by the Taiping army. In 1984, the villagers raised funds to rebuild it and changed it into Yunxian nunnery to worship Wugu Zhenxian, Luoxian, Laixian and other Taoist deities.

Jinjie Pavilion is on the gentle side of the hill Pavilion. In 1998, Professor Shen Chiheng of Xiamen University built a six column round Pavilion in memory of his father Shen Yimin, who followed the revolutionaries led by Sun Yat Sen to overthrow the Qing Dynasty and establish the Republic of China.

Youkengmen is the Waizhai gate built in 1904. It has thick walls, battlements and arrow holes for defense.

Ferris peak across daughter stream, along people along the steep ridge cut 365 stone steps, you can go directly to Zhuan village. On both sides of the stone steps are cliffs and deep streams, among which there is a section of 100 level echo step. When visitors pass by, they just need to stamp their feet to hear the sound of "zhe zhe", so it is also called Xianggu stone. At the top of the peak is a village gate, with thick stone walls and incomplete battlements. There are reserved observation holes, arrow windows or shooting holes, which are very solid. The stone steps of this peak used to be the way for the people stationed in the village to get water in case of drought and the way to retreat in case of emergency. It is a very dangerous landscape.

On the south side, there are three mountains: big cat, two cat and three cat. On the top of Mt. Ermao, there is a pond chiseled in the rock, which is used to receive rainwater and does not dry up all the year round.

Shouxingyan and Yingying spread their wings. On the northeast side of zhuanzhai, there is a mountain, which looks like an old man with vivid eyes, nose, eyebrows and whiskers. On the south side of the mountain, the shape of the mountain is very similar to that of a Mountain Eagle who wants to spread its wings.

When the site of guwuchang enters the gate of anzhai village in Qianshan, a gentle Valley can be seen. In the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1898), the security society built a walled house, a hall, a study, a kitchen, a storehouse, a pond, and a vegetable garden, which lasted five years. The buildings are well arranged according to the mountain. Four plants of bamboo and wood, for the seclusion reading quiet place. In 1933, it was burned because of the war. Today, there are many ruins.

There is a gorge in front of the gate of zhuanzhai moat on shuimen wall. The valley bottom is a mountain stream, which flows on the broken wall standing on the rock. It is called shuimen. This rock shaped wall is about 200 meters long, 70 meters high and 8 meters wide at the top of the wall, which is called Watergate wall.

In front of xiuzhuping, there were bamboo forests all over the valley. Two flat stones stood like a screen, so it was called xiuzhuping.

At the intersection of Qianshan Mountain, there is a pile of stones that are naturally combined to form a dragon's head in the shape of an open mouth. There is a dragon's tooth and a dragon's tongue in it. A clear spring trickles out from it, so it is called the dragon's tongue spring.

After the Dragon tongue spring, there is a small road between the two mountains. It is high, steep and narrow. When you look up, there is only one line in the sky, so it is called the one line sky.
