Wu Yuan, female, born in October 1950 in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province. Professor, doctoral supervisor. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and vice president of Hohai University.

In 1976, he graduated from the Department of philosophy of Sun Yat sen University. In the same year, he was assigned to teach in Nanjing University of technology. He was once the dean of the school of Humanities of Nanjing University of technology. In 1996, he was transferred to Hohai University, where he served as president of Hohai University Press and Dean of College of humanities.

At present, he is also vice president of Nanjing philosophy society, vice president of Jiangsu home economics society, executive director of China psychological Technology Application Research Association, etc.

He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of philosophy and psychology for a long time, and his main research directions are Marxist epistemology, ideological and political education psychology, and college student psychology. He has published more than 50 papers in core journals such as philosophical research and Chinese administration, and has written more than 10 books and textbooks. He was awarded the excellent teaching quality award of Jiangsu Province and was awarded the excellent teacher of the Ministry of water resources.
