Luo's ancestral hall
Luo's ancestral hall is a family ancestral hall built in the middle of Qing Dynasty, which belongs to the place where Luo's family worships their ancestors. Located in the north of Jinglian ancient village, Qiaotou town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, it was built in the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1864). It faces east and West, covering an area of more than 400 square meters. The temple is 2 wide and 3 deep. From the archway, the head gate, the main hall, for green glazed pottery gold lion head, on the plastic "Tongzhi three years" four characters, its unique shape, exquisite technology. On the left and right sides of the gate, there are many vivid ancient figures in different shapes. The wall of the main entrance is built with red stone bars, and the roof is supported with red stone columns.
layout
There is a broad terrace at the main entrance of the ancestral hall. A stone tablet carved with lions stands on the left and right respectively. On the left, there is a inscription "Gui Wei Jinshi in the ninth year of Guangxu". There is a bow and arrow shaped pond in front of the ancestral hall. The stone steps lead to the edge of the pond. The sunlight reflects on it. The ancestral hall and the pond are beautiful. It embodies the hard work, courage and wisdom of the ancient working people. Due to the disrepair of the ancestral hall, only the main gate has not collapsed.
