Fuxing South Road

Fuxing south road is one of the most important trunk roads in Taipei city. It is north-south. The second section of bade road in the north connects Fuxing North Road and Xinhai road in the south. It is divided into two sections. Most of the whole line is located in Da'an District, and the front section is located in Zhongshan District and Songshan District. Wenshan line of Taipei MRT (Science and Technology Building Station Zhongxiao Fuxing station section) is located above Fuxing South Road, with three stations. In addition, for the convenience of foreigners, the road number of this road and Fuxing North Road is 11th Ave. (11th Avenue).

history

Fuxing South Road was built according to the urban plan of 1932 after the war. It starts from Zhongzheng East Road (now bade Road) in the north and runs through the railway in the south.

In 1964, due to the eastward expansion of the urban area, the construction started and extended southward to Ren'ai road.

The road section from Xinyi Road to Heping East Road was started on June 1, 1973 and completed on April 30, 1974 (soon extended to Xinhai Road), with a width of 40 meters.

On May 10, 1975, the construction of Zhongxiao East Road to Xinyi Road was started, and the original Anton Street subgrade was widened to 40 meters, which was completed on December 27, 1975.

Fuxing south road is divided into two sections.

The first section: the second section of bade road in the north connects with Fuxing North Road, and the third section of Xinyi Road in the south connects with the second section of Fuxing South Road.

The second section starts from Xinyi Road in the north, the third section connects with the first section of Fuxing South Road, and ends at Xinhai road in the south.

Zhongxiao East Road Renai section is four lanes north to South and three lanes south to north.

Renai road - Xinhai section has three lanes in each direction.
