Jiudaowan Grand Canyon

There are stone digging mountains in the northwest of the gorge and banma mountain in the south. The two mountains stand in a straight line. The Jiuwan river meanders between them. There are flowing springs, waterfalls and gurgling water everywhere. In the scenic spot, there are "quicksand", "swallow tail", "double waterfall", "stone cave", "white sand", "mirage", "hanging stone", "snail" and more than ten deep pools, with natural orientation and angle. There are three wonders in the scenic spot: "turtle frog stone", "stone footprint", "yibuliang". There are natural swimming pool, tent area, wooden house and guest house in the scenic area.

You can also pick chestnut, apple, snow pear and walnut from September to October every year.

Take the bus from Dongzhimen to Miyun, and then transfer to the west line of Miyun reservoir to reach the entrance of the scenic spot. You can drive from Sanyuanqiao to Miyun by Jingmi Road, about 25 kilometers westward to Miyun reservoir.

Jiudaowan Grand Canyon

Jiudaowan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in the Grand Canyon in the west of beishicheng village, Shicheng Township, Miyun County. In the scenic spot, there are double stone controlled mountains in the north and banma mountain in the south. The two mountains stand in a straight line, and Jiuwan river meanders between them.

Introduction

In the scenic spot, there are quicksand, swallow tail, double waterfall, stone cave, white sand, mirage, hanging stone, snail and more than ten deep pools in different shapes, scattered in the Grand Canyon, just like pearls, especially mirage pool. The bright sunlight reflects the ripple of the pool water on the huge stone wall beside the pool. The silver ripples are mottled and changeable, and the orientation and angle are natural.

In the scenic area, there are many grotesque rocks, such as Wolong stone, Lingjian stone, and so on. The couple stone nestles together to share the foam. The Suoxi stone is located in the river. The towering Blessing Stone and God stone reflect people's expectation for happiness and peace. The cave in the scenic area is unique. The waterfall splashes in the flying water cave, which has a unique cave sky. The stacked stone cave, which is made of huge stones, is even more amazing. With cool climate and pleasant scenery, it is an ideal place for sightseeing, summer vacation and tourism.

It has a natural swimming pool, tent area, wooden house and guest house. From September to October 30 every year, it holds activities such as picking chestnut, apple, persimmon, pear, walnut, wild vegetable and wild fruit.

In summer, walking on the mountain path among the trees, it's cool in the boundary. In one step, the cold wind is chilly, and it's cool into the muscles; in another step, it's hot and hot.

Traffic routes

Take 980 or 987.980 at Dongzhimen long distance bus station, get off at Miyun Gulou station, and then transfer to a taxi (23km away from the scenic spot). After May 1, 987, you can go directly to the scenic spot on holidays. On weekdays, get off at Miyun Reservoir and transfer to a taxi (7km away from the scenic spot)
