National Geological Museum of volcanoes

In the National Geological Museum of volcanoes, a number of functional areas with different functions are built to display volcanic evolution and relics. There are 106 samples of volcanic rocks in Weizhou Island, 50 samples of volcanic rocks in Guangxi, and more than 50 samples of shells and corals in the sea area near Weizhou Island.

The most attractive part of the geological museum is the volcanic eruption demonstration system built with high technology. Through the on-site demonstration platform, visitors can experience the breathtaking volcanic eruption process 10000 years ago. In the hall of the high-tech volcanic eruption demonstration system, accompanied by the rumbling sound, the crater continuously emits smoke, and the crater gradually turns red. Then a stream of maroon lava gushes out from the crater, and flames rush down from the top of the mountain, forming volcanic rocks of different shapes under the cooling of sea water. Visitors can't help but be moved.
